Meet Laura: Bringing Art to Life in Cloverdale & Beyond
Laura Webb is the owner and lead instructor at pARTy With Laura Art Studios. From a young age, she knew art was her true calling. At just 10 years old, she began taking art classes, and by 19 she was already sharing her passion as a teacher. By 20, she became a certified Bob Ross Landscape and Floral instructor—one of the very few in the Lower Mainland who can teach his world-famous technique. She later expanded her expertise with a background in graphic design, multimedia, and clay art.
Originally from Taiwan, Laura moved to Canada in 2004 to pursue her studies in graphic design. Today, she lives in Cloverdale, BC with her husband and two daughters, where her home-based studio has become a welcoming space for creativity.
Laura offers a wide range of art experiences, from acrylics, oils, and watercolors to sketching, coloured pencil, and air-dry clay sculpting. With a patient and encouraging approach, she helps students of all ages build confidence, problem-solving skills, and artistic techniques they can carry for life.
After several years of teaching online during COVID, Laura is thrilled to once again focus on in-person classes and especially her popular paint parties—a fun and relaxed way to celebrate birthdays, team events, and special occasions while creating art together. She also continues to share her love of art with the community through collaborations with the City of Richmond and the City of Surrey, hosting pop-up art tents and mini workshops.
For Laura, teaching art is more than showing techniques—it’s about inspiring creativity, sparking joy, and helping every student building their confidence and discover the artist within right here in the Fraser Valley.
